PBR

PBR stands for Pizza & Beer of Richmond, and this is an all-time favorite here. Handmade dough is used at this Italian spot, and they are also known for their artisan sandwiches and craft beer selection. This restaurant features a large indoor seating space with lots of televisions to watch sports games, as well as an outdoor patio area with games such as cornhole.

Kreggers at Hand

This Gastropub located in the Fan features two bars, a large outdoor seating area with a fireplace, and live music. They also have a massive local beer selection and craft cocktails. Make sure to try their Moscow Mules, they are very popular! The outdoor seating area is the most crowded, so if you want to ensure a spot outside, call ahead.

NarWhals Rolled Ice Cream

This is the best ice cream in Carytown! It is the perfect spot to stop after a stroll through town and features their famous rolled ice cream. Pick your base, mix-ins, and toppings, and watch them make it right in front of you. Relax inside and play one of their many board games while you enjoy your treat!

Stella's

This family-owned Greek restaurant is a hidden gem and local favorite. It features family recipes for rustic & modern Greek cuisine in an upscale setting. Pair your meal with one of their delicious wine selections or cocktails. This spot is always packed with a line out the door, so make sure you make a reservation. The Village Cafe

Possibly the most known restaurant in the Fan, the Village Café has been serving up the best comfort food in Richmond since 1956. Their most famous item is their beer-battered onion rings, which were featured on an episode of Diner’s, Drive in’s, and Dive’s on Food Network. Open nearly 24 hours a day, this is one of the few spots that offers every menu item all day. Pancakes for dinner? Sure, why not!

Shyndigz

Shyndigz is a vibrant dessert specialty restaurant that features a rotating menu of cakes and pies all made from scratch. Make sure to check out their cake calendar to see what specialty items they are serving that night! Their most famous desserts, which are available every night, are their salted caramel chocolate cake slices and oatmeal cream pies.
