Carolina Coffee Shop

Since 1922, Carolina Coffee Shop has been serving Tar Heels, making it the oldest continually running restaurant in North Carolina. Crook's Corner

Start your Sunday off right with some shrimp and grits or other seasonal southern staples. The New York Times called Crook’s Corner “sacred ground for Southern foodies,” and it is also a James Beard Foundation America’s Classic restaurant. La Residence

La Res is located on Rosemary Street in downtown Chapel Hill in a restored home and boasts two lovely patios for outdoor seating. They offer brunch on the weekends with waffles, eggs Benedict, and shrimp and grits, but they’re famous for their bottomless mimosas.

Sunrise Biscuit Kitchen

Sunrise Biscuit Kitchen is a drive-thru only restaurant, serving biscuits, sandwiches, and burgers. Grab their signature Bad Grampa — chicken, egg, cheese, and bacon biscuit with hash browns and iced tea — and head over to the quad to eat on a beautiful day. The Purple Bowl
